The MYTEC 2.5-Inch Light Clamp-On Vise is designed for home, shop, and professional use. This lightweight vise features four rubber gaskets attached to the product package to prevent unnecessary scratches on the table surface when installing. It can attach to tables up to 2.4 inches thick, allowing you to work almost anywhere. The vise can be rotated up to 360 degrees on its base for work positioning, making it widely suitable for general purpose and light work.

The vise is manufactured from cast iron, featuring steel vise jaws, a threaded spindle assembly, and a chrome lockdown. The jaw of the bench clamp is made using quenching and re-firing technology, which increases the hardness and toughness of the jaw and makes it durable. It is recommended to add some oil to the screw before use to ensure the movement of the jaws is more flexible and stable. If the tension is too tight or too flexible when using the rotating handle to fix the vise, the tightness of the jam nut can be adjusted to achieve a good working condition.

The net weight of the HOME VISE is 3.31 lbs, with a maximum width of jaw opening at 2.5 inches and a jaw width of 2.0 inches. This bench vise can be installed on the edge of all kinds of desktops, with the table board up to 2.4 inches thick being able to be clamped. The installation is convenient and quick, with no need for punching on the table. Two rubber washers are provided to prevent table scratches, and two jaw washers are included for protection of the parts. To ensure the proper use of the rubber gaskets, please refer to the product picture before installation and adjust the fixing chin to a larger opening first, then install the rubber washer in the planned corresponding position, and secure it in the end.
